Top 100 Political Influencers on YouTube Covering India and Global Geopolitics
How YouTube Is Reshaping Political Influence
YouTube has become an arena for political debate in India, rivaling television and newspapers in shaping opinion. The ranking, Top 100 Political Influencers on YouTube Covering India and Global Geopolitics, identifies creators who influence discussions on politics, governance, national security, economics, and international affairs. Although its focus is India and global geopolitics, the list retains several Pakistani commentators because they discuss Indian politics and foreign policy, attract more viewers from India than Pakistan, and therefore participate in the Indian public sphere. While subscriber numbers remain important, they account for 70 percent of the ranking; the remaining 30 percent reflects engagement, publishing frequency, originality, public prominence, and cross-channel visibility. The ranking is not an official YouTube index, but a service provided by the Khanversations Institute to offer a guide to the rise of alternative media and its influence on politics, public debate, and political communication.
Top 100 Political Influencers on YouTube Covering India and Global Geopolitics
July 2026
Ranking criteria: While subscriber numbers remain important, they account for 70 percent of the ranking; the remaining 30 percent reflects engagement, publishing frequency, originality, public prominence, and cross-channel visibility.
Methodological note. The ordering is a composite influence ranking, Subscriber totals, viewership patterns and external appearances change over time. Each channel name is clickable and opens a channel-filtered YouTube search, avoiding incorrect links where channel handles are ambiguous.
Ideological-orientation note. The labels below are broad editorial estimates based on the dominant tendency of each channel’s publicly available political content as of July 2026. They are not necessarily the creator’s own self-description. Interview platforms, educational channels and defence-focused channels are marked “center” or “mixed” where a simple left-right label would be misleading.
